Billy Boat Exhaust is a name familiar to anyone in the market for a top-quality stainless steel exhaust system for a late model Corvette. It should come as no surprise, then, that they’ve been hard at work and already have an axle-back system ready for the new 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray. Utilizing their Gen 3 Fusion muffler technology, this exhaust retains the OEM dual mode system and twin electronically-driven actuators to control sound volume versus backpressure.
The Fusion silencers represent the latest refinement in noise reduction technology, and initial testing shows that the exhaust is good for as much as 14 additional horsepower. For those looking for the ultimate in sound and performance, B&B is also working on a C7 system using the company’s free-flowing Bullet mufflers as well.
Billy Boat Exhaust's CNC machined billet exhaust tips are the perfect match to the C7 Corvette's angular styling.
We were also impressed by the quality of the company’s optional machined billet aluminum exhaust tips, which are available in bright polished finish, black anodized, or a range of colors. They’re optional on Billy Boat Exhaust’s C7 systems, and can also be retrofitted to the stock factory exhaust.
The prototypes we saw at the SEMA show will be production ready in just a few weeks, so now’s the time to pre-order a system of your own!
