Sometimes videos arise, featuring people breaking the law and engaging in a little thing we all know as…street racing. There are no limitations to the amount of videos circulating the web of people out there participating in this (not condoning), but sometimes you just come across a gem that deserves an honorable mention of some sort, and not necessarily in a good way.
These guys are going about 80 down a street that looks to be more of residential area where speeds usually don’t go above 40-45 miles per hour.
These overly excited guys in the 1996 Camaro Z28 decide to take on a 1998 4.6-liter GT while the passenger annoyingly films it. The Mustang in the video supposedly has an upgraded intake, exhaust, headers, cams, pulleys and more, according to the YouTube description.
There was a turn at the end of the straightaway that we were supposed to slow down before, but the mustang decided not to.
Racing is fun to watch and always fun to participate in but if you’re going to watch one, a professional driver tearing up the track in a Cobra or some kind of powerful beast may be a bit more fun than watching idiots film themselves doing something stupid. Well, sometimes. Glad nobody was hurt and that the Mustang made a sweet little turn despite the miscalculation. This is just one of the many things that can happen on a residential road, with obvious turns, while racing double the speed limit in the middle of the day and right in front of a fire station. Be a little smarter, fellas.
