Rednecks can be found anywhere, but the driver of a Chevy Silverado takes the cake for an outrageous jump at the sand dunes near Silver Lake, Michigan. Autoblog discovered this little gem and appropriately compared it to the antics Bo and Luke Duke, a couple of well-known good ol’ boys. Crazy behavior and the infamous “hey y’all watch this,” attitude run rampant at most off-road sites; however sand dunes tend to bring out the inner Duke-boy in drivers and with the amount of air caught by red Silverado the driver definitely channeled the spirit of the General Lee.

Viewers will see the red Silverado appear out of nowhere and take flight as it hits the top of the dune. As the red truck flies through the air the passenger side begins to dip down as the truck approaches impact with the earth; once the truck makes contact with the ground a series of loud sounds and the crowd instinctively reacts to what is sure to expensive repair bill for this display of more balls than brains.  Amazingly the truck lands without flipping or rolling, but the distinctive sound of broken parts continues until the truck comes to a stop.  Once stopped, the crowd gathers to inspect the damage inflicted during the redneck Olympics. Sure the front bumper is hammered, the front suspension is tweaked and who knows about the frame, but a few seconds of flight seems to be worth the cost to these diehards.
