This Cadillac may have rolled off the assembly line a good 5 decades before the first CTS-V’s, but it’s got a lot more in common with its modern Cadillac brethren than you might think at first glance. It’s low, it’s wide, it’s got tons of genuine Cadillac attitude, and an LS power plant under the hood to boot.
We were tipped off to this not-so-little LS1 powered gem by LSXMAG Facebook Fan Danny Newton, who sent us a link to the car’s for-sale posting on eBay. The listing is a little thin on details, but we can still gather a decent bit of info from the pictures. There is no doubt an LS1 “Corvette Engine” with cream colored valve cover rails that match the Caddy’s paint sitting between the fenders, and a set of Flowmaster mufflers to make sure everyone knows this car’s got a little something more than its stock Cadillac V8. We can tell that the car is equipped with an automatic transmission, so it’s a safe bet that it’s rolling with a member of the 4LXXE trans family for some overdrive highway cruising fun. The listing does tell us that the DeVille has a Vintage Heat and Air system for maximum cadi-comfort.
The listing is set to run until July 14th, and has a Buy-It-Now price on this one of a kind DeVille of $39,995. However, if you think that’s a bit too much coin, there is the option to make an offer. Check out more pics of the LS1 DeVille here.
