Back in December we told you all about Steve Beaston’s Camaro being put together at Doug Kline’s Precision Chassis shop in Temple, Pennsylvania, and we’re back to show you some of the updates that have been done since then. The car is coming together quite nicely from what we can see; the Precision Chassis team has been hard at work on the car all year long to get it to it’s current state.
As with all builds of this caliber, nothing happens overnight, but Beaston and crew have built this double-framerail Camaro into one of the sickest machines we’ve seen to date for X275 action. The rulebook was dissected and plans were made to take the flood-recovery machine to another level, and the photos we’ve got for you today detail the level of craftsmanship Precision put into the build so far.
As you can see, the Precision Chassis team has much of the car’s main structure finished including the belly pan section and most of the tubing inside the car. The interior fitment is underway along with much of the other final fitting details, and once those are all complete the car will be off to paint and back for final assembly.
