Sisco’s Fabrication Supercrew Silverado: A Preview Of What’s To Come

Sisco’s Fabrication And Custom Bodywork might be a name that you haven’t heard of before, but you’ve most likely seen their work. Brandon Sisco, owner of Sisco’s Fabrication And Custom Bodywork, has built some of the most amazing cars to ever hit the pavement. He does it all from custom fabricating suspension, to sheet metal work, to laying the paint. There’s no job that he can’t do, and few can do them better.

One car that you might recognize from his shop was a 1960 Cadillac Roadster nicknamed “Cruella” that premiered at SEMA in 2011. This low-slung black-beauty won award after award, and for good reason. Included in it’s long list of awards is the 2011 SEMA Design Award for best GM vehicle. The car graced the cover of Cruisin’ Magazine and Grounded Magazine in Japan, along with being featured in Lowrider magazine. You don’t win awards and magazine features by building shoddy vehicles.

current_1Sisco’s is up to again, but this time with a slightly different game plan. Instead of taking an existing vehicle and modifying it into one of the baddest vehicles on the road, he’s creating a vehicle that never was made, but should have been. When he’s done, this vehicle will look like it would have if Chevy actually produced it.

That vehicle is a 1972 “Supercrew,” a four-door C10 crew cab that Chevy never built. To start creating his vision, he grabbed the chassis from a 2004 Chevy SS, complete with a 6.0L LS engine. He’s retaining the AWD to keep the performance handling of a new truck. The truck will have a static drop, to keep the truck sitting just right. As for the body, he’s had quite a large task in front of him since it wasn’t a matter of patching a few panels or shaving some emblems. Sisco’s has had to completely fabricate most of the panels on the truck from scratch and execute it to look factory.

In it's current state, waiting for paint.

Currently, the truck is in the bodywork stage, getting primed, blocked, and sanded. We’ve been following along on the Siscos Fabrication Facebook, and are blown away with this build. Be sure to hop on and follow along as well. The truck will be done in only another month, when it will be debuted at the 2014 SEMA show. For those that don’t know, the SEMA show is held every year in Las Vegas and brings out the best of the best in the entire industry. Everybody from Chevrolet to aftermarket manufactures are there, displaying the best they have.

Sisco’s wanted to give a shout out to everybody who has helped him take on this project: Steele Rubber Products, McGaughy’s, Ron Francis Wiring, MSD Performance, Kinetik, IPCW Lighting, Hellwig Suspension, Esajian Wheels, Vintage Air, Goolsby’s Customs, Sanderson Headers, Coffin Mufflers, Billet Badges, Brothers Truck, Bruce Horkey Wood Beds, Grant Kustoms, Dakota Digital and Lokar. With a ton of support from all these companies, this truck is sure to be another home run at SEMA.

Make sure to check back during SEMA, as we will bring some exclusive pictures of this ride completed!
