As we’re sure some of you already know, we’re fans of the past-time Craigslist browsing: where we begin our journey searching for one thing and end up finding another. This time, we were on the search for anything that could be a affordable, yet suitable project car – when we came across this.

This car friends, is a 1969 Camaro. That’s it. Not an SS, not a Z28, not an inline-six model, just a ’69 Camaro. Or at least that’s how the seller put it.

Unfortunately, since the seller didn’t list the VIN number, we can’t confirm what it is either, which is a total drag. We can only assume it was possibly a base V8 model, since in the add he says “Up for sale or trade is my 69 Camaro as it sits now it has the original 350 and Trans in it.”

We’re going to have to assume when the owner says “Trans” (not sure why he capitalized the T in trans) he’s referring to the vehicle is equipped with an original automatic transmission from the factory.

He then goes on to say that the vehicle has 33,000 original miles on it, has a very clean interior and paint, and QA1 suspension with 14 inch disc brakes. The owner of this Camaro is asking $35,000 or best offer, and explains if it sells for his asking price – he’ll perform a full LS6 swap on the car, as he does LS swaps for a living at his shop.

So, what do you guys think? Is this ’69 Camaro worth the seller’s asking price of $35,000 – even with a full LS6 swap?
