The beauty of the muscle car era was the stamp that certain men and companies put on the era and on the cars. Men like Don Yenko, Joel “Mr. Motion” Rosen, and Nickey Chevrolet specialized in customizing muscle cars, and customizing these rides into mean performance machines. Today these are some of the most highly sought after cars to collectors and enthusiasts.

It would seem that history is repeating itself when we brought you news last week of Joel Rosen’s latest creation. But now you can throw the name Richard Childress into the performance car industry. Richard Childress Racing Street Performance has built a very sleek version of the 2011 Camaro.

They offer three packages for the 2011 Camaro The RC1, RC2, and top of the line RC3. The RC3 features a GM Performance LSX 454 naturally aspirated engine tuned at RCR that produces 750 horsepower!

“The Intimidator” Dale Earnhardt drove for RCR for the majority of his career, and it’s safe to say that the folks at RCR Street Performance picked up on the intimidation theme and instituted it with a very intimidating front grill. Also upgraded is the suspension kit that would make this a formidable foe at any track.

So let’s answer the question that everyone is asking – OK this is all great, but how much does it cost? According to their website, the RC3 package will run you $60,000… Plus purchasing the Camaro. So all in all your looking at somewhere near $100,000.
