QA1 Expands: New R&D Facility Makes Room For Developing New Parts

Suspension components have taken on a whole new life for classic musclecars, and making an old dog learn new tricks takes a lot of research, design, and engineering. Now that people are putting their classic musclecars back on the street and on the track, the need for developing new parts and components to make these cars handle better than they ever did requires more than just reworking old parts. It takes time to design, engineer, and test those components before they’re put in boxes and shipped out to performance shops and customers.

QA1 has been keeping itself busy with plenty of new products for the street and performance markets, with suspension components, shock absorbers, and driveshafts. Whether you take your car to a track, or keep it on the street, QA1 provides suspension components that help make your vehicle handle more like the rest of the cars on the road – instead of the way it came off the line decades ago.

As QA1 continues to expand their products and grow into a bigger company to keep with modern trends, they also needed the room to breathe new life into old cars. QA1 has just completed the addition of a new Research & Development area where they have the space to design and develop new products, and bring more vehicles into the shop for test fitting new components.

The 38′ x 60′ R&D area provides plenty of space for both of their two-post lifts, as well as a new four-post drive-on lift and alignment system. Now they have the space to engineer parts, complete with a shock dyno and welding station, and a FaroArm for further research and adjustments.

You can keep up with QA1’s expansion on their Facebook page, and when you’re ready to check out their new products for your vehicle, check out a catalog on their newly designed website.
