UMI Performance has done it again for third and fourth-generation F-body owners. The company’s new product addresses a known issue regarding binding on the lower shock mounts, and corrects it with this bolt-in shock relocator kit. The TIG-welded parts place the shock in a double-shear mount that pivots freely, offering better structural integrity while allowing for unrestricted movement as needed.

UMI Performance, Inc is proud to introduce our P/N 2047 GM F-body bolt-in rear shock relocator kit. This kit rotates the factory style rear shock to reduce the common problem of lower shock mount binding. The shock is relocated to a double shear mount and pivots freely about the lower bolt. An innovative, TIG welded lower bracket holds the shock in double shear and works with standard axle mounts as well as with most common relocation brackets (spacers included). Drilling two 3/8” holes is required (no welding). The P/N 2047 kit accommodates a standard 1-1/4” wide shock mount and has ½” diameter mounting holes. Hardware is included.
