One of the ways that the original-equipment vehicle manufacturers reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) is to use compliant rubber and fluid-filled bushings where possible to dampen unwanted vibration and noise. But these concepts are anathema to a performance enthusiast who is looking for every edge to take out the competition. BMR Suspension has developed these billet/polyurethane 2010-up Camaro engine mounts to limit engine movement and enhance throttle response in the process. They take only a few hours to bolt in and will improve the performance of your fifth-gen F-Body.
Official Release:
Reduce engine movement and improve throttle response on your 2010-Up Camaro with Polyurethane Motor Mounts from BMR Suspension. These mounts are constructed from ¼-inch steel plate, aircraft-grade 7075 billet aluminum, and high-durometer polyurethane bushings. The BMR Polyurethane Motor Mounts (PN MM004) drastically decrease engine movement with little to no change in NVH by replacing the weak, hydraulic bushings with stiffer polyurethane bushings. Installation time is 2-3 hours with stock exhaust manifolds (install time may be longer with aftermarket headers). Available in red and black hammertone powdercoat.
Features:
- Reduce engine movement
- Billet/Polyurethane construction
- 2-3 hour installation time
