MSD has been providing us enthusiasts with high performance ignition products for decades, and in the last few years we’ve seen some very cool new products come from the company that brought us the bright red ignition box. When the Atomic EFI hit the streets, it was a new venture for MSD that allowed them to foray into the fuel injection market by replacing your carburetor with a throttle body injector with an integrated ECU that controls ignition timing.

Hot on the heels of the Atomic EFI throttle body is the Atomic EFI system for the LS engine series, with the electronics built into the fuel rail. With the ECU built into the fuel rail, the yards of wiring is eliminated and all the connectors needed for the LS engine are also built into the fuel rails.  Each bank has only the connectors that are needed on that side of the engine, such as coolant and crank sensors.

The Atomic LS is also available in several configurations depending on your application. Whether you’re running an LQ9 truck intake, an LS2 or an LS7 platform, each Atomic LS is designed to operate on specific engine and intake manifold configurations. With all the proper plugs and connectors right on the fuel rails, installation is clean and simple – something that you can perform in your garage or driveway at home.
