In a move that’s intended to better align our magazine’s name with our content and our readers interests, LSXTV is becoming LSX Magazine with a URL change to LSXMag.com within the next 30-60 days.

We are also unveiling a new bad ass logo (if we do say so ourselves!). When we launched Power Automedia in 2006, internet video was exploding onto the market, and we wanted to create a website that was intensely video-oriented for automotive enthusiasts. What we discovered is the definite need and desire by our audience for LS content, but it wasn’t just video. The name just hung around, and we can’t tell you how many times someone asked us, ‘what channel are you guys on?’!

After some soul searching, we figured LSX Magazine would be simple, and would honor the heritage of our original name. In addition, Power Automedia will welcome a new LSX Magazine Editor, Chase Christensen, who will join the company’s editorial team in May.

LSX Magazine will continue to offer the same feature and technical articles, event coverage, and videos that have been integral to our content for years. The name shift also takes the confusion out of what we do. LSX Magazine is part of the Power Automedia family of digital magazines, dedicated to bringing readers the best automotive content 24/7.

The LS engine will remain a vital player in the performance world for decades to come. No engine, since the introduction of the small-block Chevy in the 1950s, has enjoyed such huge success and cult-like status with enthusiasts around the world. LSX Magazine will continue to focus on hardcore tech for late model GM vehicles — specifically fifth-gen, late model Camaros, and other late-model GM vehicles. We also will continue coverage that highlights LS swap tech for everything from classic musclecars, to the unusual and seldom seen LS swap vehicles. With GM’s fifth-generation small-block LT series currently in production, LSX Magazine will also focus on the latest in LT engine tech.
