Not unlike the Synergy Green option available to North American Camaro buyers, the green exterior of this German Camaro is sure to attract attention wherever it goes. The Munich-based tuner regularly churns out modified American iron for the Euro market, suitably modified for both performance and presentation, and has been doing so for the past thirty years.
In the case of this ectoplasmic green SS bowtie, that process starts with a new ‘sport’ exhaust system and a supercharger that pumps the Camaro’s V8 up to 564 horsepower with a Geiger engine tune, according to the company. Now, with 488 ft-lb of torque – an increase of 68 over stock – the car responds with a 0-100 km/h (0-62.4 mph) time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h or 190 mph.
The car’s distinctive look goes beyond just the choice of paint. The Geiger aero kit adds a front splitter, revised side skirts and a redesigned rear fascia with a distinctive air diffuser and F1-style rain light. Carrying on the black and green color theme, enormous 22-inch rims add significantly to the car’s stance and distinctiveness.
The cost of being a Connecticut Yankee in King Gustav’s Court is not insignificant. The Geiger Cars-prepped Camaro SS HP 564 is priced at 88,000 Euros ($127,400) in Germany. For additional information on the Camaro SS HP 564 and other Geiger conversions, check out the company’s web site.
