Drunk Randy Travis Arrested After Wrecking His Trans Am…Naked

You just can’t make this stuff up. According to Dallas Fox News 4, the country Star Randy Travis was recently arrested after police found him allegedly drunk and definitely naked just a few yards from his wrecked 1998 Pontiac Trans Am after responding to a 911 call. To only make matters worse, Travis reportedly threatened to “shoot and kill” the officers when they took him into custody.
This isn’t “Rowdy Randy’s” first run-in with the law while partying in his Trans Am. Last February police found Travis allegedly wasted and siting behind the wheel of his black T/A in a church parking lot, where they arrested him for public intoxication. The T/A managed to survive that incident, but the black Pontiac might not be so lucky this time. According to police, Travis apparently crashed the Trans Am into construction barricades and tore the car, and himself, up pretty good.

There are also reports that earlier that evening Travis had attempted to buy a pack of cigarettes at a local convenience store au-natural, but was refused service. Hey, even country superstars have to follow the “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service” rules, right? Like we said, you just can’t make this stuff up, however it is important that we mention that no charges have formally been filed against Travis, pending the results of his blood tests.
