For one lucky Camaro5 member, a fun day at the track turned out to be their big break in to cable TV stardom… well, for their Camaro at least. We recently came across this thread where “ddunrider” reports he was out at a track day at SoCal’s Streets of Willow with the Hotchkis H-Team, when The Car Show’s producers approached them, and asked if any of them would like to have their cars featured on the show.
He says, “The Car Show was taping on the other track, “Big Willow”, next to us and they asked Hotchkis if they could ask some of us if we wanted to be on TV. They liked my car so I said yes! I signed insurance papers, and off it went with Dan Neal behind the Wheel at 120 miles an hour! They were mostly careful with the cars, but watch [the show], Camaro lovers will be happy. Most of the cars are Hotchkis cars – The Super Bird, E-maxx Challenger, Mike’s RTR Supercharged Mustang, Carl’s LS supercharged 68 Camaro, and my NA 2010 Camaro SS.”
We are really interested to see what the guys at The Car Show have to say about the 5th Gen. Will the Camaro do us proud, or will it just give Matt Farah more reasons to claim the Mustang GT’s superiority?
