The Performance Racing Industry show commences tomorrow, but we’ve got a breaking news story – ProCharger will debut six new superchargers to the general racing public in their booth, #2305. Leave it to ProCharger to be ready to go for the 2014 season just days after rules were announced for many of the popular racing classes. You hardcore racers are going to want to keep reading!
The new superchargers include the F-1A, F-1C, F-1C-10.5, F-1D, F-1X-12, and the all-new F-1X-12A. All of these superchargers have been developed to fit specific class rules, and in fact are under development as soon as those rules were annouced.
Also important to note is that the two new F-1X models, the -12, and -12A, have significant changes inside.
The F-1X-12 is the basic F-1X impeller in a 12-inch volute and uses a larger 6.5-inch exducer as well as discharge guide vanes. This supercharger is attached to an F-1/F-2 gearbox, just like the standard F-1X.
The F-1X-12A is an F-1X-12, but is attached to the F-3A gearbox, which allows it to use the insane 6.24 step-up ratio used in the F-3A-121. Check out the specs on all of these superchargers over there to the right.
Filthy Phil Hines will have his NMRA Street Outlaw championship-winning and elapsed-time record-holding car front-and-center in ProCharger’s PRI booth, so make sure you stop by and check it out. Remember – Booth # 2305.
While you’re there, catch up with the ProCharger tech staff, who will be on hand to answer all of your questions about these new superchargers along with their complete product line.
