They say that winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. Aaron Rodgers has been trying to get out from under the shadow of legendary Packers QB Brett Favre since taking over the job in 2008, and in beating Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl he’s done two things Favre never did; won the Super Bowl MVP award and a new Camaro convertible in the process.
Chevrolet sponsored the Super Bowl heavily, running ads in nearly every commercial break and sponsoring the Fox TV Show “Glee” after the Super Bowl as well. As soon as the game was won Chevrolet staff set up the Chevrolet sponsored winning podium in the middle of the field and wheeled Rodgers new Camaro convertible out. He was awarded the Camaro on live TV by former Steelers QB and Fox Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw. Bradshow made sure to make sure that the entire world knew the Camaro had 426 horsepower!
Appropriately enough, the color of the Camaro was chosen well; Victory Red. We’re guessing that Rodgers won’t drive the Camaro around Green Bay all that much until it warms up a bit, though. Green Bay isn’t called the “Frozen Tundra” for nothing.
