As the 2015 model year is upon us, Chevrolet has released their new Camaro order/reference guide, complete with each new feature along with the features that are going away for the 2015 model year. Notable among the changes are the removal of the Deep Magenta Metallic (G7F option code) and Blue Ray metallic (GXH) exterior colors, along with the addition of the Blue Velvet Metallic (G1M) exterior hue, illuminated foot wells (S0u) and spoiler extension (S1A) options. In addition, the 2LT convertible’s tonneau cover (E45) changes from standard equipment to optional equipment, and the RS package (WRS) with 20-inch wheels (R42) has a finish change to Bright Silver.

If you’re planning on buying a 2015 Camaro, then this guide, intended for dealer use but available online, will be extremely helpful. The opportunity to inspect each of the option groups and what’s included without the pressure of a salesman trying to get you to sign on the line is very helpful – and you’ll be able to walk into the dealership as an educated consumer and not be pushed into purchasing one of the cars on the lot simply because it’s what they have available.

There are three wheel options, from the 19-inch five-spoke RVB painted aluminum design to the same wheel in a polished-finish aluminum (RVD option) – and there’s a 5-spoke 21-inch dealer-installed option that hasn’t been revealed yet.

Three audio systems are available, from the AM/FM/CD/MP3 standard option (UYE) to the 7-inch color touchscreen UFU option and then the top-dog 7-inch display that offers a navigation option built-in (UHQ).
