GM has the odds stacked in its favor this holiday season. Two of its most-anticipated cars are making their debuts this November; the Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid and the Camaro Convertible. While we couldn’t care less about the Volt, the Camaro Convertible has been teasing us throughout 2010. Finally, we get to see a finished production version in person.

To amp up anticipation, Camaro5 has gotten their hands on all of GM’s promotional dealership material for the 2011 Camaro Convertible, including a much more detailed release date schedule. By March 2011, people should begin taking delivery of the first 5th gen factory ‘verts!

The promotional and training material for dealerships will give dealers all the details they need to know about the new droptop. There is even going to be an online training program (really? It’s a convertible – what more do you need to know?) The Camaro Convertible will also be getting its own devoted website, and there is also a hint of additional “Phase 2” Camaros coming in 2011. Pretty please, Z/28?

The other pertinent information relates to ordering and time schedules. Between today and the official unveiling, dealers can start submitting orders. Production for the Camaro Convertible begins sometime in January of 2011, and the first droptops are slated to be delivered by the end of March. Between January and March, pricing information will also be released. And for those of you wondering, the Camaro Convertible will be available in both LT and SS trims, meaning you get your choice of V6 or V8 engines. You know which engine you should get, though.
