We all wish we would have kept our 1969 Camaro SS or Shelby Cobra when we where younger, not knowing they would become classic collectors cars. Many of these cars are hard to find or very expensive to buy these days. But who would have known back in the day they would be such classic sought after cars.

What about cars now a days, how can we tell what might be an instant classic? There is one insurance company that thinks they can predict what current production cars could eventually become that next collectible classic car. Hagerty Insurance Agency has put together a “hot list” of current cars under $100,000 that they think eventually will become the next top collector car.

On the top of there list is the ever popular and sought after 2011 Camaro Convertible. This car will be released in spring of 2011 and with the sales of the 2010 Camaro couple the new convertible is sure to skyrocket off the show room floor. So you can own a powerful 400 horsepower sports car and drop the top while enjoying a warm summer day.

Some others on this list may not live up to the hype of the new Camaro but will sure be right there with the rest of the most powerful and popular cars. A few of the cars include the new Cadillac CTS-V with a price tag right around $70k and 560hp. This is sure to make Cadillac’s top collector car list. Next is the Dodge Challenger with the new V10 Drag Pak package that is set up for more of strip production car. Finally, Ford made it on the list with there Mustang BOSS 302R with a steep price tag of $79k and 444hp and will only produce 50 of these cars.
