With a week of 2011 under our belts, we thought it was time to take a look back at the top ten most-viewed videos of 2010 here on LSXtv. Join us on our trip down memory lane as we recap the highlights…
We start our countdown with a video that doesn’t even have an LS-anything in it, but hey, who are we to argue with LSXtv viewers? It’s easy to ignore the Dodge Magnum in our number ten video and just focus on the lovely Anne McDaniels…
It’s no surprise that Aeromotive’s new in-tank race-ready fuel pumps grabbed a lot of attention at this year’s SEMA show, and our video feature comes in at number 9 for the year:
The return of the “COPO Camaro,” courtesy of GM Performance Parts’ crate engine program and two enterprising Chevy dealerships grabs the eighth spot on our list for 2010.
When we got our hands on FAST’s new LSXR intake manifold, put it on a Z06, and strapped it to the rollers, people sat up and took notice, propelling this video to the number seven spot in our countdown.
Our Project Swinger Nova’s LS swap was made a whole lot easier thanks to Keisler and their Perfect Fit kit, and it drew a lot of positive interest from LSXtv visitors looking for ways to make their own LS swaps painless. It’s earned the number six slot on our 2010 video roster.
#5 – SEMA 2009 ProCharger P1SC and D1SC Superchargers
Our fifth-most-watched video in 2010 wasn’t from 2010 at all – it was our 2009 SEMA coverage of ProChargers P1SC and D1SC blowers, which continued to be so popular it nosed its way into the top half of our new year’s list.
#4 – Babe of the Month Deena Cari
You didn’t seriously think we were going to get all the way to the top without at least one more model shoot sneaking in, did you? Our video of Deena Cari posing with a very clean Stingray ‘Vette (yes, there is a car in there if you look closely enough) took the number four slot in our 2010 video countdown.
Our sound comparison of Flowmaster’s Hushpower axle-back and American Thunder cat-back systems for 5th-Gen Camaros drew a lot of interest, putting it in a podium finish in our 2010 video popularity contest.
Our video of the final pairs for the 2010 LSX Shootout earned runner-up honors for 2010, with LSX All Motor, LSX Real Street, and LSX Drag Radial action from the late, great Gateway International Raceway.
Nothing wakes up an LS engine quite like a good cam swap, and our test mule Z06 certainly benefited from Comp’s LSR bumpstick. The swap took our LS7 from 494 rear wheel horsepower to 540, and made this video the most-watched of 2010.
