1965 Chevy C10 Slated For Pro-Touring

[1]The Pro-Touring scene has brought us a lot of very cool vehicles, some of which can handle the road course better than anything the Japanese cars can throw our way. When it comes to the Camaro, many people will say they’ve seen just about every variation on a Camaro that can be done.  Chevrolet’s G-bodies and A-bodies, they’ve been done up quite a bit too, too. It’s not boring, but we crave something different once in a while, right?

So when we came across a 1965 Chevrolet C10 pickup on the Pro-Trouing.com [6] site that’s getting the Pro-Touring treatment, it was something we wanted to take another look at. You just don’t see things like this done to an older Chevy truck these days, and this one is looking sweet.

The build is being done by Auto Rod Technologies [7], and they started with a C10 that was basically just a shell on wheels. From there, the truck began it’s process of getting the body and frame blasted and a paint surface put on for the build to begin. A few shots of all the suspension parts laid out and we can already tell this build is going to be extensive.

Billet Specialties wheels [15], Wilwood Brakes [16], and a host of other parts to get this LS powered truck moving along. We know you’ve seen lots of LS swaps over the past few years, but when is the last time you’ve seen an air filter routed inside the truck and mounted behind the glove box? This will be another build that’s looking great already, and we’re keeping an eye on it.
