Years ago the words open house meant my teacher was going to tell my parents how much I was talking in class. GM on the other hand has a much better idea of what to do at an open house. On August 14, 2008 the Wixom Performance Build Center will be having its annual open house.
For those who do not know what kind of magic comes from in side these walls, this is the plant responsible for creating the mighty engines for the ZR1 and the Z06. With food and drinks going to be on hand
GM is inviting you to bring your Corvette and get a free tour of the facility.
Even if you don’t have a Corvette you are still invited to go. Even Rick “Corvette” Conti will be attending this open house. This is a chance for you to meet the men and woman behind the doors that make the engines for these wonderful cars.
