The Camaro has been out for nearly a year now, and we’ve seen some truly wicked creations coming from the innumerable aftermarket shops out there. From superchargers to turbos to nitrous, it seems like almost everyone has gotten their hands into the LS3 engine under the Camaro’s hood.
What makes
Unrestricted Motorsport’s Comp Series Camaro so special is that in addition to being a wicked ride, it will be sold as a turn-key car at various Chevy dealerships across the country in 475-800 horsepower flavors.

The base level Camaro will come tuned to 475 horsepower thanks to a cold air intake, cat back exhaust, ECM programming and dyno tuning. All of the Comp Series Camaros come with a body kit consisting of a cowl-induction type hood, side skirts, upper grill, spoiler, springs, sway bars, and a fully worked over suspension. Additionally the distinguishing “Hammerhead” paint scheme.
From there the options include several different levels of supercharger packages, all the way up to 800 horsepower. The top end kit replaces the LS3 with a wet-sump supercharged LS7. A twin-disc clutch is used to hold all that power in place, 6-piston brakes with slotted rotors provide stopping power, and a
Hurst short-throw shifter is thrown in for good measure. A very cool car that should be making its way to nearby Chevy dealers soon (for those who can’t wait for a Z/28).
