Camaro this, Camaro that. Everybody seems to be scheming up a Camaro variant these days, and finally SLP has thrown their hat into the ring. The legendary Loudmouth exhaust maker has come up with their wicked version of what the Camaro should be, called the ZL575, a supercharged powerhouse with a maddening amount of power. The ZL575 gets a complete overhaul from front to back, including some slick exterior modifications.

The goodie list is impressive and extensive. The top of the heap is a 2300 series TVS High-Output supercharger supported by a cold air induction system. An axle-back exhaust also improves air flow, as does an RTM Z/28-style functional heat extractor hood scoop. The ZL575 gets lowered 1” in front and .8” out back for a more aggressive stance. The wheels get an upgrade with 20” 5-spoke wheels with ZL hubcaps, and a 1st generation-style rear spoiler adds some more “retro” to the look, as do the “heritage style” SS badging. The rear tail light panel gets blacked out, as do the quarter vent inserts. An optional ZR-1 clutch, 3:45 rear gear, and
Brembo brake package are offered as well.
All this is good for up to 575 horsepower in manual form (550 with the slushbox). Only 250 ZL575 Camaros will be made, making this a rare catch for a true Camaro fan. Time to break out the kiddies college fund. Tire torching fun is a good cause, after all (although pricing has not yet been set).
SLP is taking pre-orders now.
