As we've come to expect from the internet, it's almost impossible to keep a secret. A UK-based website, CarTribe, has released photos of the Production version of the new 2010 Camaro along with some hidden information which was supposed to be outside of the public eye until Monday.
According to CarTribe, SS, LT, LS, and RS versions of the Camaro will be released with both six-speed stick shifts and automatic versions. The 6-speed automatic will be especially interesting. The V8 is a 6.2L LS3 with random cylinder deactivation, and the V6 is a 3.6L version making 296 mph. As expected, a full independent suspension is slung underneath with traction control. Upgrades for the SS include Brembo braking with four-piston calipers
The car is going to hit dealer lots in March. Anybody that tells you otherwise is lying. We've got an inside source, and rumors of a January release are false.
