Cornwell Tools has become the Official Tool of the powerTV Garage through 2010 and will be used exclusively in all powerTV vehicle builds.
MURRIETA, CA – June 27 2008 – powerTV has made Cornwell Tools their official “Tool of Choice” by entering into a partnership with the almost century old mobile tool company. Under terms of the partnership powerTV will be using a full complement of Cornwell’s finest, including hand tools, air tools, welders, tool boxes and more – all painted the famous Cornwell blue. “Lifetime guarantees are great,” BJ Kimbrough, powerTV’s Project Manager explained, “But I need tools that are reliable, durable and made with quality control – like Cornwell Tools.” Kimbrough is excited to start working with Cornwell’s quality-manufactured tools on the current powerTV builds.
Scott Mata, Cornwell’s National Sales Manager, is just as excited to be the tool of choice on the variety of projects powerTV works on. “powerTV has the means to help us be up and coming with future generations.” Calling themselves the oldest mobile tool company in the US, Cornwell Tools has been a family owned company since 1919, located in Wadsworth, Ohio with franchises in 48 states.
“Consistency and reliability are two extremely important qualities for powerTV’s mechanics to have when working in our shop. I know Cornwell will provide us with high-quality tools that will live under abusive conditions – like our Dynojet,” explained James Lawrence, powerTV’s President.
Cornwell Tools will be featured on the powerTV videos that are broadcast on – Stang TV, Street Legal TV, and LSX TV. All the tools will be put to use working on vehicles such as Project 666, an ‘86 Mustang and Project Grandma, a ‘78 Malibu soon to be powered with an Edelbrock/Musi 555ci Big Block engine.
