If we as drag racers can create these new motor "flips" why can't the Big 3 build a cars and trucks over to get over 30 mpg.

Thanks,
Myles

Myles ,
There is always a reason why the big 3 can't make fuel efficient cars to get over 30mpg. At least Ford & Chrysler has a few choices but Chevy really doesn't have any but the Cobalt. But I can say this about Chevy that the other 2 don't have and that the Flex Fuel on there trucks. The other 2 car makers better step up to the plate or Chevy and the Imports are going to walk away with the big prize. I love driving my gas guzzling SUV but I would like the Variable engine management system that runs your V8 as a 4 cylinder than when you want the power it turns on the other for cylinders.

The Vader is waiting for other American car manufacturers to wake up!
