The all new Camaro is right around the corner, and the General is coming out swinging with full performance support for the return of their flagship muscle car. The 2010 Camaro is getting the royal treatment with a full offering of exterior, interior, and performance parts that will ensure the streets are quickly filled with big power bowties once more.
On the exterior, the Camaro is getting a selection of spoilers, vinyl hood and fender graphics, and ground effects to compliment the selection of 21" rims in chrome or alloy. The interior can be treated with carbon fiber or a selection of colors like Victory Red and SCO Yellow. A Heads Up Display, or HUD will even be offered for the 2011 model year, something the members of the
Camaro5.com forums don't seem particularly happy about that. But they are happy that the first day of ordering, October 13th, is less than a month away, so if you plan on picking up a new Camaro you might want to start checking with a dealership.
But the real goodies will be under the hood, from shorty headers and short throw shifters to full crate engines, GM Performance Parts will be offering it all. The muscle car wars are reheating with this salvo from the General, who seems as eager as the rest of us to have the Camaro back on the street and tearing down the dragstrip.
