It's impressive to see how well-received these Firebird and Trans Am/Camaro conversions are. This one's on the road with the Hot Rod Power Tour. The new car is based on a Victory Red 2010 Camaro, fitted with 20-inch Rally wheels and an updated interior. Built by
Lingenfelter Performance, the car also sports a more radical paint job than their original T/A concept, which was shown at the Barrett-Jackson event in Palm Beach.

Lifting the hood, you'll find a GMPP LSX engine block,455 cid 11.5:1 CR, with GMPP forged pistons and rods. The bottom end uses a Custom Callies 6-bolt crank, while the top shows off GMPP LSX-LS7 6 bolt cylinder heads with Ferrea Dual valve springs. The heads are further modified in-house with a custom LPE CNC program, hand sanded and 5-angle valve job milled .029 to acheive 64cc CC volume. Cometic head gaskets and ARP hardware throughout are used to keep the top and bottom ends in close formation. Specs on the LPE GT-19 camshaft are: 227/239 .678/.688 on 114cl.
The intake side of this T/A comprises an LSX F.A.S.T 102 mm intake, 50 lb/hr fuel injectors, an LS7 hand-ported throttle body, and LPE custom cold air intake with custom LPE calibration. Output from this project goes into a LPE 6 bolt LS9 twin disk flywheel and clutch, which should keep most things under control.
With its distinctive exterior and the rumble coming from under the hood, you surely won't miss this car coming down the roads from Iowa to Alabama.
