My first new car was that color. Plum, takes me down memory lane. The hood is sick, I also like the wheels... very cool. There are several guys here with GTO, we also have a guy in town with a very powerful GTO. Cunningham Motorsports in Lake Elsinore.

My dad is a pretty big Mopar guy so that might have had something to do with it. I have always been a Pontiac guy seeing how that was my first car of course the 67 firebird I had was that orange/red color it became the Plumcrazy color much later but has always been my favorite color. This GTO is pretty close.... I am glad that you like the car I wanted it to be a little different without it being over the top and I am a huge fan of drag look seeing how I like drag racing it works out well. I try to make some of the GTO events so I can meet some of the others building these cars and there are some pretty fast ones out their. My goal eventually is to make the LSX Shootout but don't think I will be able to have it all tuned in this year.

Thats a great goal. The LSX Shootout is a blast. I think your GTO will fit right in there. I remember seeing lots of cars there with some great colors. What is your goal as far as power goes?

Shooting for around 600 at the wheels N/A and We will go from there and see what happens. I think that will get me where I want to be time wise. I am having trouble deciding about which heads to go with. I am leaning toward the LS7 heads now that you can get the Fast LSX-r 102mm. But I am still researching lots of options out there..

Yeah, LSx-R is very cool. Looks like a good combo and direction to get you that 600 rwhp. Best of luck on that.

Thank you I must say so far it has been the most fun car I have had yet. I have really enjoyed it and hopefully with me wanting to mod it and race it more I don't take some of the fun out of it.. Thanks again Mike

What are you going to do about you chassis with that much power at the wheels?

I just put a 8 point cage in the car and I am going to beef up the rear as much as I can afford for now. With the drag bags and some of the other things you can do they are running these cars into the 9's. I am not looking for that just somewhere in the 10's would be great. Hardest part for me is the trans th400 or try to go with a 4l60 built to keep my overdrive...
