When we stopped by the Eaton booth this year at SEMA, our attention was drawn to a clean looking Tri-Five Chevy, we couldn’t over look many of Eaton’s great products. Like their full line of differentials for almost any type of application. We shot a video that really a good job at explaining what each differential is best suited for. Everything is covered from the Eaton Posi, ELocker and the legendary Detroit Locker. Find out why OEMs and performance enthusiasts trust the Eaton name.
We were walking by the Mustang Dyno booth and couldn’t help but stop in. After meeting with some of the guys there, we found out that these two models will be featured in an upcoming Mustang Dyno ad. Look for that to be coming out soon. For now, enjoy a few quick photos of what was going on!

Nitrous Express Stand Alone Fuel Tank & 2010 Camaro Plate Kit

Nitrous Express has a new stand alone fuel tank that makes running the laughing gas on your ride safer and easier than before. Named SAFE for Stand Alone Fuel Enrichment, this composite fuel cell can be mounted in most battery trays and can help support up to a 300 shot of nitrous. This tank includes its own fuel pump and regulator already installed so all you have to do it run the line to your system. This means there is no need to upgrade the fuel pump in your vehicle or splice into the fuel system when running a wet nitrous system. This also takes away the fuel pressure drop commonly associated with adding nitrous. Nitrous Express currently has options for both gasoline or methanol depending on what you feed your engine.

- Complete Nitrous Only Fuel System
- Supports Up To A 300 hp Shot
- Includes Fuel Pump & Regulator
- Integrated Fuel Level Gauge
- Mounts In Battery Tray

2010 Camaro V8 Nitrous Kit

Nitrous Express was also showing off there all new Nitrous Plate Kit for the 2010 Camaro. In the R&D phase, NX found that by adding a traditional sized plate to the stock engine, the idle air control valve hit one of the pulleys on the engine. Instead of trying to come up with an all new pulley system for the engine, the team at NX decided to make one of the thinnest nitrous plates we have ever seen. The stainless steel plate included in their package is an eye squinting .027 inches thick! This laser welded plate even has provisions to mount the solenoids on it as well. You also get a billet fuel rail adapter that means there is little to do to modify the stock fuel system to adapt the nitrous system to it.

- Includes Jet for 35-200 hp Shot
- Braided Stainless Lines
- Arming Switch Included
- Bottle Options Rage From None to 15 Lbs

Centerforce's New Twin Disc Clutch For Late Model Muscle

To handle the performance demands of late model muscle cars such as the Challenger, Mustang and Camaro, Centerforce is bringing out an all new Multi Disc clutch that will be hitting the streets March 1st. The new patent pending design uses what Centerforce is calling a ‘lug’ design. In addition to the spline from the transmission driving the center plate, Cenerforce adds 6 lugs that aid in driving the system and make it able to hold more power.

Centerforce will be offering a few different material options, but at this time there were no firm options. What we can tell you is that this twin disc set up is around 10 lbs lighter than the OE clutches that come in the Challenger, Mustang and Camaro.

- Twin Disc Set Up
- 10 lbs Lighter
- LMC Pressure Plate

You won’t find any further info on www.centerforce.com just yet, but info on there many other clutches can be found there. Look for more info on this clutch soon.

Auto Meter Pro-Comp Dash & Analog Air/Fuel Gauges

In the mix of bright lights in the Auto Meter booth we found a new product that is aimed right at the racer. The Pro Comp Pro Dash is available in three different versions: street, race and MFDL. The MFDL is a super version of the race version with more features and more capabilities. Today we are just going to focus on the Street and Race options. Both systems are packaged in an easy to read display that is 3.82 inches high and 7.48 inches wide, making it easy to incorporate into any dash. No matter if you get the street or race version, you get a system that can monitor all of the sensors in your vehicle. The only difference between the two systems is the amount (or type) of sensors this dash will monitor. Also in the race version, you get recording.

In the street version you get features such as low fuel, odometer and trip settings without the option for data logging. The race version also has many other features that would make it valuable to someone running almost any type of motorsports.

Pro-Comp Street:
- Track RPM
- Internal Warning Light with Message Display
- External Warning Light Capable
- Speedometer
- Oil Pressure Gauge
- Oil Temperature Gauge
- Water Temperature Gauge
- Voltage Gauge
- Odometer & Trip Meter
- Programmable Fuel Level Gauge
- Low Fuel Warning Light

Pro-Comp Race:
- Track RPM
- Internal Shift Light
- Internal Warning Light with Message Display
- External Warning Light Capable
- Speedometer
- Oil Pressure Gauge
- Oil Temperature Gauge
- Water Temperature Gauge
- Voltage Gauge
- Fuel Pressure Gauge
- 8 Recording Channels
- Multiple Run Recording
- Playback Recording

Auto Meter Analog Wide Band Air/Fuel Meter

Also new in the Auto Meter booth was some new addition to their ever growing wide band air/fuel sensor line. These new analog wide band sensors are being offered in many of the already popular gauge lines. These are designed to offer both a lower entry cost and blend seamlessly into gauge cluster already with analog gauges.

- 8:1-18:1 Display Range
- Brightness Adjustment

Wide Array of 2010 Camaro Exhausts from Magnaflow

If you don’t know what kind of exhaust you want for your 2010 Camaro, Magnaflow gives you a wide array of kits to choose from. First, there are two different choices depending on if you are running the factory body kit or not, which changes the tip design to accommodate the fitment. The street series features 2.5” piping through mufflers and resonators. Then there is the competition series that is offered in 2.5” and 3” configurations that remove the resonators and use just two rear high flow mufflers for a louder sound. Lastly, Magnaflow offers a budget axle back kit in which you cut the rear section of your stock exhaust off, and add their kit that secures with clamps (no welding required).

- Stainless construction
- 2.5” and 3” Competition exhaust systems
- 2.5” Street series for a quieter sound
- Axle back system for a lower budget but still require the increased sound
- Factory body kit supported

Intake, Fuel, and Exhaust Camaro Upgrades by BBK

BBK is out in full force with a host of parts for the 2010 Camaro. Starting with the exhaust, BBK offers a set of ‘tuned length’ shorty headers that fit up to the stock catalytic converters. For those looking for all-out power, they offer a full length version as well. Connecting to the headers is their X-pipe and cat-back exhaust kits. A cold air intake comes with a preformed heat shield to block out unwanted engine heat. Finally, a set of high flow fuel rails with cross over line is also available.

- Stainless, mild steel, and coated headers
- Claimed 30 horsepower from full length header, 10-15 horsepower from the intake upgrade

Check out more at www.bbkperformance.com

Hotchkis Suspension Solutions for the 2010 Camaro

While there is plenty of power parts to choose from at SEMA for 2010 Camaros, there were fewer that offered suspension upgrades for the late model muscle car. One of those companies that can get you steered in the right direction is Hotchkis. For those who have driven a 2010 Camaro, knows that they do suffer from understeer. Hotchkis has help combat that with a front sway bar that is 200%+ stiffer than stock and a rear bar that is 170% stiffer, keeping this heavy car flat around the corners. Also for a lowered appearance, Hotchkis offers a progressive rate lowering spring kit that will drop the Camaro 1-inch. Finally, a chassis brace keeps the Camaro from flexing under hard corning. If you want these all as one package, no problem, call up Hotchkis and ask for the “Track Pack”.

- Sway bars are 210% stiffer front and 170% rear, coming with all hardware
- Chassis brace reduces sub-frame flex and wheel hop
- Springs are 210 lb/in front and 440 lbs/in rear
- Everything comes powder coated

EBC Brakes Brings Out Their Color Coded Brake Pads

EBC is a British manufacturer that produces all of it’s brake pads in the EBC factory in the United Kingdom, using fibers like Kevlar and Twaron. EBC Brakes Andrew Bartosiak told us that they are “Dedicated to stepping up to sportscar racing for 2010 in the USA.” It’s very likely that you will start seeing these brake pads showing up with greater frequency this next year at parts stores and racetracks in North America. EBC has a unique blend of pad material for each style of driving and they have color coded the pads to make identification easier.

The Ultimax brake pads are a normal black color and is designed for normal street use. From there the brake pad line is named based on color. The next step up from the Ultimax brake pad is what EBC calls the Greenstuff pads, designed for “spirited street use”. For “Faster street use on muscle cars and premium imports”, you’ll need to use the Redstuff brake pads. For short races and time trials, the Yellowstuff brake pads are offered. Finally, when you get into higher performance racing, EBC recommends the Bluestuff brake pads.

Magnuson's Bad Boy Magna Charger SuperCharger System for the 2010 Camaro

The much anticipated 2010 Camaro is out and ready to rule the streets. At the 2009 SEMA show, we've seen just about every power adder that you can imagine for the new GM platform. Magna Charger's Camaro supercharger looks to be the bad boy upgrade of the season. According to Magnuson's Bob Roese, "The addition of our MP2300 TVS supercharger system and the new Camaro can outperform the legendary ZL1 with no sacrifice in MPG or drivability."

The Camaro Magna Charger supercharger system comes complete with all components necessary for installation. Included in the kit is the cast aluminum intake manifold, factory "push-lock connectors" are utilized in the fuel system for installation ease, intercooler core, coolant circulation pump, heat exchanger and all necessary hardware. This system does not require any hood modifications.

Other components include new high capacity fuel injectors, and fuel rails. The hand held computer programmer communications with the factory ECU for proper calibration of the supercharger system.

Highlights of the Magna Charger Supercharger system:

Produced a real-world 492 RWHP & 455 ft. lbs. torque

100% complete bolt-on system

Front inlet MP2300 TVS supercharger with integral bypass valve

Patented cast aluminum intake manifold replaces factory composite unit and features the latest in proprietary intercooler airflow technology

180° rotation of supercharger provides straight airflow path for maximum power and efficiency

"Internal bypass valve" virtually eliminates parasitic loss...and delivers a proven 30 to 66% increase in real world "under the curve" power. Best of all, it costs less than 1/3 of a horse at 60 mph. Now that's real efficiency.

Fuel system includes new injectors, extruded aluminum fuel rails, factory "push-lock" connectors and fuel regulator adaptor

Computer programmer re-flashes factory ECU, spark and fuel calibration, transmission shift points, line pressure and torque converter strategies are optimized to manage increased torque, horsepower and mileage.

Installs in less than 1 day

Std. 3-year limited warranty

Opt. 3-yr./36,000 powertrain warranty
