Yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the tips. I'd had never heard of a Dana 61.

I think it came out of the trucks from Chrysler. Jim has way more information on his setup as it was a special made piece by the man who runs Strange Engineering over a period of months or maybe longer.

Chris took the GTO out to Tulsa Raceway Park and set a new best time. He went 9.41 at 144 and still on the IRS. He is still running on one stage of nitrous.
I can't wait until the second stage gets turned on. Then we are going to bug Chris about a third stage!

Congrats Chris!

That is a good running late model GTO. He ran a friend of mine on that run. Ask him about the Blue Nova shootout car that was testing in the other lane. It's unlikely that an IRS will live when he decides to throw a lot of nitrous at it.

Crazy, we might see the first ever 8-second IRS run. I think there are 03 Cobra's that have done that though. Anyone know?

LOL.. yea, that blue Nova let off half track and coasted the rest of the way. Give another 1/8 and I would of caught him, LOL
He still went faster than I did.

Yes Mark, I had a few good runs at Tulsa while testing our prototype axle stubs.
I pulled a 1.41 60ft also (real good for an IRS)
I've also released a couple new products, a bolt together 300m axle stub and one piece billet 300m axle stub.
My Gforce1320 brand parts have gone faster than any other parts on the market !
Check out the new stubs and other info @ gforce1320.com

Thanks
Chris

You mean like axles (half shafts)? I actually just bought an 8.8 IRS diff that I'll be doing some design work on. I've thought about getting into the Cobra IRS market.

Thanks
Chris
