| Lsx 427 This is not my first Camaro and it will not be my last one a LS1 or LS2 will be coming soon. I also has a black 68 Camaro with a 427 this baby was loud and proud with 3in exhaust and flow masters. My life really starts over 6,500 rpms in any motor that I have had up until now. You will love this man, I also has a 69 SS with a 327,150 shot nos, 4 speed ,AC and a 4.10 gear. The color of the car was bright Yellow with black decals on the side. I was going to kill myself with that car so I sold it. I would leave the light at 4,500 and shift a 6,800 to 7,900 on the street. People would look a me like I was out of this world driving like a bat out of hell.
The linkage was very loose so power shifting was not very fun at all. First to second nice,second to third the linkage would jam up. The trans was locked up in third so I would have to get out and craw under the car and pull the linkage free that sucked so much. I did drive the car in the Woodward Cruse and after that I sold the car. I am crying as I type this story to the world about my 69 SS Camaro.
