SEMA 2013: Hedman Performance Group Adds To Their Catalog

IMG_0166When you already have a catalog that includes thousands of parts, from air cleaners to oil pans, and everything in between, it only seems natural that you continue to build on that inventory with parts that meet the demand of a growing industry. Hedman Performance Group has done just that with new parts introduced to the performance aftermarket, including LS swap headers, powdercoated dress up kits, and LS swap engine mounts and oil pans.

IMG_0165Most will recognize the familiar Hedman Hedders part of this performance group, with headers that fit hundreds of applications, including SBC and LS swaps on popular vehicles like the Chevrolet S10, and even a set of headers for the classic 392 Hemi, keeping the tubes tight to the block for clearance.

In addition to Hedman Hedders, Trans-Dapt and Hamburger’s Performance Products also fall under the Hedman Performance Group, bringing us thousands of custom parts that perform as great as they look under the hood. You might remember many of the Hamburger’s Performance Products being anodized in red, so we spoke to Mark Lewis and asked about the new, clear anodizing on many of their parts.

Lewis said, “We have found that a lot of people want differing colors for the parts they use, and sometimes red doesn’t fit into that color scheme. By offering these parts in clear anodized these parts will fit with just about any color scheme, and can be used by more people.” It makes sense, too, because rarely do you see a custom build where there isn’t some sort of color scheme.

Speaking of color schemes, Trans-Dapt now has engine dress up kits for many engine applications that include powdercoated air cleaner, valve covers, timing cover and water neck, all in the factory-matched colors for Chevy and Ford. These powdercoated kits look great under the hood, and paired up with a set of black or ceramic coated headers will keep your engine looking sharp for years.

Contact either of these companies through their parent site, or go directly to Hedman Husler Hedders, Trans-Dapt or Hamburger’s Performance Products directly. But make sure you get your cup of coffee first – you’ll be there for a while if you want to cruise through their parts catalogs.
