It might be a little hard to get your mind around, but JET Performance Products has been in business providing more power to automotive enthusiasts for more than 40 years! This week at the 2011 SEMA show, we got a look at some of what’s new at JET.
While most EFI aficionados will recognize JET’s plug and play performance modules, they’ve also got flash tuning tools for late model vehicles too. One of their newest applications is their part number 15008 Performance Programmer for 2007-up GM vehicles. Like their earlier GM flash tuning devices, it allows you to read and clear diagnostic codes, modify the engine rev limit and the vehicle speed limiter, calibrate for different tires or gears, and of course load performance tunes for regular, mid-grade, and premium fuel.
For GM owners looking for the ultimate in tuning tools, JET has developed the Dynamic Spectrum Tuner package. Consisting of an interface that connects your car to your existing Windows laptop and the DST software, the system lets you take control of almost every aspect of engine tuning. That includes fuel and spark tables, torque management, transmission control, and much more. The latest version of DST, part number 14007, covers 2007-up GM vehicles, while other part numbers cover the the vast majority of OBD-II GM cars and trucks.
If you’re interested in exploring what DST can do, you can check out their free demo of the software.
