SEMA 2011: Get Uncorked with American Racing Headers

[1]

In addition to supplying headers for the Baldwin-Motion Camaros, we also noticed American Racing Headers' handiwork under the hood of the just-unveiled COPO Camaro concept car - that's a pretty strong endorsement from GM, if you ask us...

The folks at American Racing Headers [2] have one simple goal – to “Maximize American Horsepower” – and here at SEMA 2011 we got a close up look at their full line of headers and exhaust systems for America’s finest autos (one of which, the new Baldwin Motion Camaro we told you about recently [3], was on display at their booth sporting a set of their stainless 5th Gen headers).

It’s an exciting time at American Racing Headers [2], as they expand their line to cover more models. They recently began producing exhaust systems for America’s most popular pickup truck, the F-150, which now features the same 5.0L Coyote as the Mustang. Not every car has to have a V8 to get a set of American Racing Headers, as they offer a system for the latest generation of V6 Mustangs… and for that matter a car doesn’t even have to be an American Car to get a set of their headers, as 2007-2011 Mercedes E63/CLS63 owners can now pick up a custom designed exhaust from American Racing for their V8 luxury cars. (Don’t laugh – these things make 500 horsepower out of the box, and pick up an additional 40 HP with American Racing’s headers.)

Owner Nick Filippides also talked with us about a few exciting products that are in the works, including a further expansion into the domain of muscle cars. And LSX fans, stay tuned for even more exciting news from American Racing in the near future – there’s a new application for 5th Gen Camaros that will be yet another first in the market for American Racing Headers!

ARH's catalog includes applications for the Big Three domestic muscle cars - in addition to the Challenger complete exhaust system shown here, they've got headers and exhausts for everything from V6, Modular, and Coyote Mustangs to 5-liter F-150's and LS-engined Chevy and GMC trucks.
