In fairness to the ACO / FIA, the balance of performance is a hugely difficult task, and all of the manufacturers will do whatever they can to make it appear their car is slower before the race. This year the ACO / FIA got it badly wrong….

Edelbrock’s Rev’ved Up 4 Kids carshow and charity gala made it’s 8th annual presentation in as many years. This year’s gala charity dinner was a bit different as it was also the kickoff for Edelbrock’s 75-year Anniversary. Legends, racers, builders, media, and spectators gathered for a great cause – check it out!

On Friday, June 14th, Grand-Am Racing hit the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio for the seventh race of the season, but while there were many manufacturers entered in the competition, the Corvette teams left little room for the success of other brands over the weekend.

One of the first shows that kicks off the season each year is the Michigan F-Body Meet and Greet, near Milford, Michigan. After taking the win in the American Le Mans Series opener at Sebring, Corvette Racing dropped to a 4-5 finish at Long Beach just last month. But the season is far from over and the team is intent on proving their power for the remainder of the year, starting with their first-place finish at Laguna Seca.

Corvette Racing finished 4th and 5th in the Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series at Long Beach, and unofficially shares the top spot in Manufacturer Standings with BMW at 34 points. Looks to be a good start to the season on the heels of a first-place finish at Sebring for the No. 4 car.

Corvette has not won the American Le Mans Series GT class at Florida’s 12-hour Sebring since 2009. This year, however, America’s sports car pulled ahead of Risi Competizione’s 458 Italia in the race’s final 13 minutes.
