When we first saw Billy Meade’s Trans Am, we were instantly reminded of the 1978 film classic, Hooper, starring Burt Reynolds. In the film, Reynolds’ character is a Hollywood stuntman, who uses the T/A to complete a large jump a la Smokey and the Bandit.
By putting awesome features like Magnetic Ride Control into the public consciousness, GM may be able to change the minds of skeptics who still think American cars can’t corner. And the 4,300 pound Camaro ZL1 definitely needed help in that area.
