Being into cars at a very early age, Rick has always preferred GM performance cars, and today's LS series engines just sealed the deal. When he's not busy running errands around town in his CTS-V, you can find him in the garage wrenching on his WS6 Trans Am, or at the local cruise spots in his Grand National. He also enjoys writing, which led him to his current gig as a contributor for LSXTV.com.

Recently my car was a victim of vehicular vandalism, and I’m now in the process of getting the whole car resprayed. Seen as both a blessing and a curse, I’ll be without my own daily driver for over a month, but at least it will be like new again when I get it back. Shouldn’t it be a crime against nature though?

The 345hp LS1 that sits under the Firehawk’s fiberglass hood appears to be totally stock and includes the optional SLP/Blackwing air lid. We think this would make a perfect platform to build upon, or to return back to completely stock as a collectible for the years to come.
